Deer Ridge Farm, L.L.C., d.b.a. Southern Whitetail Scents, is located in St. Landry Parish, Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
Southern Whitetail Scents is a family run operation, started in 2004 after much disappointment with the commercially available products. Unlike other deer scent companies, we own our own deer. The urine is collected fresh daily and refrigerated to prevent degradation and ammonia buildup.
Our scents are 100% pure and are never frozen!
Our scents are collected, refrigerated and shipped cold to our dealers. Our dealers display our products in 2 x 2 refrigerators, thereby insuring that the hunter receives the scent product in it's freshest state.
We start our collection process in August and continue to collect until January 15th. At the end of the hunting season we gather all unsold bottles from our dealers and dispose of the contents, insuring that no bottles from the previous year are available.
Our scents are shipped within days of collection. When shipping our products to customers, we include a reusable ice pack with each order to insure that our scents arrive cool and that the integrity is maintained.
